Founded for the purpose of establishing the Wall of Honor Monument and the Veterans Memorial Park, The Delhi Veterans Association was officially organized as a non-profit 501(c)19 business with the State of Ohio on June 26, 2006. The organization quickly grew to one hundred members. In 2007 the Wall of Honor Monument and the Veterans Memorial Park were dedicated. The Association has been spearheaded projects like the renovation of the Killed-in-Action Memorial, as well as establising the annual Delhi Township Memorial Day and Veterans Day Ceremony.
We participate and our Color Guard volunteers for various events. We donate funds to local veteran’s and community causes. We continue to fund the addition of veteran names to the Wall of Honor.
The Wall represents the history and character of Delhi Township residents who have and fought and served. It is a display of honor, courage, and commitment to The United States of America and to represent the veterans of Delhi Township. All donations go towards honoring and preserving the memory of these brave men and women.
To educate the public on the meaning of that service, to provide direction to the right agencies to those veterans who need help with various needs, and to not allow the service of the veteran to be forgotten.
